Prachi Mathur, a 21-year-old Ghaziabad resident, was defrauded.

Ghaziabad ladies defrauded of Rs. 13 lakh in employment fraud

The scam started, When Mathur started receiving unwanted text messages

Fraudsters used the promise of a rewarding work-from-home position to entice her.

They stated she might make Rs. 50 for each "like" on a YouTube video.

The scammers quickly modified their story.

She had to pay for a supposedly "welfare task."

They give her the assurance that she will get her commission.

And the initial investment was repaid after the job was finished.

Mathur fell for their trick and gave them Rs. 5,000 initially

She made many transfers totaling almost Rs 13 lakh to the scammers.
